Mega Achievement: Pioneering the Future of Infrastructure

EIEL Forays into ZLD with ₹400 Crore Advanced Effluent Treatment Project Featuring UF, RO & MVR Technologies

Awarded by the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) for the upgradation of Common Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs) in Ichalkaranji, Hatkanangale, and Yadrav, located in Kolhapur district. The project is aimed at reducing pollution in the Panchganga River and marks a major step forward in sustainable infrastructure development.

The scope covers end-to-end responsibilities including design, civil construction, equipment supply, installation, commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance. The upgraded CETPs will incorporate advanced Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technologies such as Ultrafiltration (UF), Reverse Osmosis (RO), and Multiple Vapor Recompression (MVR) to ensure efficient water recovery and minimal environmental impact.

With a targeted completion period of 24 months, this project is among the largest under MIDC’s environmental initiatives and represents a strategic milestone in EIEL’s technological advancement and regional expansion.
